Chicago Announces Drive Clean Station Program to Support Availability of Charging Stations for Electric Vehicles

With sales of electric vehicles on the upswing in 2016, the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) announced that it is hosting at webinar on Tuesday, Feb. 28 for people who are interested in opening DC fast charging stations in the Chicagoland area. CDOT and the City of Chicago are partnering on the federally funded Drive Clean Station Program with CALSTART, a non-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of green transportation alternatives.


Multi-state Electric Vehicle Project Launches in Midwest

CHICAGO, Feb. 9, 2017 – The American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest today announced the launch of Midwest EVOLVE, a three-year project to promote electric vehicles in seven Midwestern states: Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North Dakota.

Electric Vehicles Take Charge of Chicago Auto Show

The American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest and eight Clean Cities coalitions will announce the EV partnership at a news conference to be held at #CAS17 on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 2:30 p.m.
